Teleconsultation terms and consent
Important: Online consultation is not an emergency service and cannot replace an in-person examination when one is needed. If symptoms are severe, rapidly worsening, or life-threatening, contact local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department.

What you are agreeing to
By joining a consultation and accepting the consent prompt, you agree to receive medical care through a video or audio consultation with Dr. Avinash Mandre. You consent to sharing the information you provide in the patient intake with the doctor for assessment, documentation, follow-up, and prescription decisions.
Limits of online care
A remote consultation may not allow physical examination, diagnostic testing, or a complete assessment. The doctor may recommend an in-person visit, tests, referral, or emergency care when online care is not appropriate. Technical interruptions may also affect the consultation.
Patient responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about your identity, age, symptoms, allergies, medicines, and relevant medical history.
- Use a private place where possible and do not share consultation links or access tokens with other people.
- Tell the doctor if you are unable to hear, see, or communicate clearly during the consultation.
- Follow the doctor's instructions and seek in-person care when advised.
- For a child or another person who cannot consent, the accompanying person is responsible for obtaining appropriate consent.
Prescriptions and follow-up
A prescription is issued only when the doctor considers it clinically appropriate. A prescription does not guarantee a particular medicine or outcome. Keep prescription records private, follow the directions provided, and contact the doctor or seek local care if your condition worsens.
Privacy and records
Information about collection, use, access, retention, and security is described in the privacy information. Consultation audio and video are not recorded by default. Clinical records may be retained when needed for care, safety, or legal obligations.
Optional ABHA information
Providing an ABHA number or ABHA address is optional and is not required to join. If you provide it, it is stored only with your explicit consent for the stated consultation-record purpose. Unless the service clearly tells you otherwise, this website is not exchanging records with ABDM. Do not treat the website as government-approved merely because it accepts an ABHA identifier.
Service availability
The service depends on a compatible device, browser, camera, microphone, internet connection, and the availability of the doctor. Joining the waiting room does not by itself guarantee that a consultation can be completed.
